About the Artist

Lisa Floyd is a fine art and commercial artist who has called Smith Mountain Lake home since 2004. With a career in professional painting that spans more than four decades, she has become one of the most recognized and beloved creative voices in the SML community.

Lisa's work is woven into the fabric of the lake. Her murals grace the walls of more than 20 local businesses, including La Casa Toscana, Runk & Pratt, Westlake Library and many more, while her commissioned paintings hang in more than 100 private residences across the region.

The centerpiece of this shop is her most celebrated work: a hand-painted, illustrated map of Smith Mountain Lake that captures 48 points of interest, more than 100 businesses, and dozens of local nonprofits in extraordinary detail. It is at once a love letter to the lake, a community keepsake, and a work of art that resonates with everyone who has ever visited or called SML home.
